Day
1-2--Depart
from home. Fly to Los Angeles and on the Bangkok or Singapore.
Day
3-4--Arrival
in KTM where a member of the Earthbound Expeditions staff
will meet you and transfer you to the hotel for check in.
Since ancient times the Kathmandu valley has been an intermingling
point for travelers and merchants from Tibet to the north
and India to the south. This ideal location and highly fertile
soils have left Kathmandu Valley with a plenitude of both
Hindu and Buddhist temples as well as the spectacular medieval
cities of Kathmandu, Patan, and Bhaktapur. We'll take a
morning tour of the valley to see the key sites such as
the classic Newari (the original inhabitants of the Kathmandu
Valley) architecture in the medieval city of Bhaktapur,
the Hindu temple complex at Pashupatinath (a UNESCO World
Heritage Site), and the Buddhist stupa at Bodhnath. The
afternoon is yours to freely explore the many interesting
sites in Kathmandu and Patan.

departure towards Dhunche (1966 m.) 175 km. (6-7 hrs) drive.
Overnight at camp.
Day
06--Trek
to Syabru Gaun (2230 m.) camp (5-6 hrs)
Day
07--Trek
to Lama Hotel (2470 m.) camp (6-7 hrs)
Day
08--Trek
to Langtang (3100 m.) camp (6-7 hrs)
Day
09--Trek
to Kyangjin Gompa (4060 m.) camp (3 hrs)
Day
10--Trek
to Yala High Camp (4750 m.) (6-7 hrs).
Day
11--Climb
the Yala Peak Summit (5522 m.) and return trek to Kyanjin
Gompa camp at same day. (8-9 hrs)
Day
12-13--Trek
to Lama Hotel - Syabru Gaun camp.
Day
14--Trek
to Sing Gompa (3254 m.) camp (5-6 hrs).
Day
15--Trek
to Gosaikunda (4000 m.) camp (5-6 hrs).
Day
16--Trek
to Ghopte crossing over Surya pass (4600 m.) (6-7 hrs).
Day
17--Trek
to Tharepatti (3490 m.) (5 hrs)
Day
18--Trek
to Kutumsang (2470 m.) camp (5-6 hrs).
Day
19--Trek
to Chicopani (1976 m.) camp (6-7 hrs).
Day
20--Trek
end at Sundarijal and return drive to Kathmandu.
Day
21--Free
day in Kathmandu.
Day
22-23--Final
departure from Kathmandu and arrival home
